Thrive Labs is what would happen if a rollercoaster and an intervention had a baby. Exhilarating, exciting, leaving you wanting more + understanding that there are simple shifts that can create dramatic change.
Our workshops offer a lifeline, providing insights into the mechanisms of dopamine addiction and practical steps to unhook from the relentless pursuit of external validation. We empower participants to reclaim their focus, enhance their productivity, and deepen their connections, fostering a life marked by mindfulness and presence.
All groups must start with our foundational workshop, WKSP 01/Dopamine Lab, and then can pick and choose additional modules to build our a program to target specific group needs or desired outcomes.
Jarrad and his team are experts in adapting our content and methodology to suite the audience and the size of the audience. From sessions with a small handful of people through to auditoriums of 300 people. Creating an engaging and memorable experience is what we do best.

Thrive Labs isn’t just another wellbeing program. It’s an ultra engaging lesson in the science of thriving.
Thrive Labs taps into years of research from the greatest educational institutions in the world like Stanford, Harvard and Yale to give people the tools to hone a better mindset, habits, social connections and presence.
Thrive Labs is about asking the right questions that evoke our critical thinking. It’s about questioning the status quo and inviting humans to wonder “how could we do this better?”.
Encouraging participants to test the validity of their beliefs about technology, mindsets, stress ect (e.g., “I can’t enjoy a dinner without checking my phone”) by refraining from the behaviour and observing the outcome.
Use guided questions to help participants examine the accuracy and helpfulness of their beliefs about digital consumption and its impact on their lives.
Focusing on enhancing well-being and happiness, rather than merely treating mental illness. It involves the study and application of factors that contribute to a fulfilling life. In the context of managing technology use, positive psychology encourages:
1. Connecting with Others: Building strong, supportive relationships that provide love, meaning, and support.
2. Savouring Pleasure: Intentionally noticing and appreciating the positive aspects of life, which can counterbalance the instant gratification offered by digital devices.
3. Developing a Sense of Gratitude: Regularly reflecting on and appreciating what one has, rather than focusing on what one lacks or the momentary dopamine hits from digital notifications.
Encouraging participants to learn from each other through leveraging diverse experiences and skills within a group, facilitating mutual teaching and learning. It encourages collaboration, reflection, and the exchange of ideas, making it particularly effective for exploring personal experiences with technology use and behaviour change. By sharing personal stories and strategies, participants can see real-life applications of theoretical concepts and feel more connected and supported in their journey.
Wish Outcome Obstacle Plan (WOOP) is a systematic way to increase motivation and change behaviour. It is based on 20 years of research in the science of motivation and it presents a unique and surprising idea: The obstacles that we think most impede us from fulfilling our wishes can actually help us to realise them. WOOP instructs us to dream our future dreams but then to identify and imagine what inner obstacles or hindrances of reality prevent us from achieving these dreams.WOOP gives us direction and energy to fulfil our wishes and solve our concerns.
